The Choctaw Nation Health System Authority (CNHSA) is providing COVID-19 vaccinations in a tiered process with eligibility requirements changing for each tier. The process is currently in Tier 3, where appointments for the vaccine is available to patients 40 years and over with a CDIB card living within the jurisdiction, along with CDIB cardholders living with them. CDIB card holders 40 years and over that reside outside of our service area but get their health care at CNHSA are also eligible.
Once this tier is complete, we expect to offer vaccine appointments to all CDIB cardholders in our service area. Announcements will be made through the website, social media, and email when CNHSA progresses forward.
The COVID-19 vaccination requires two doses. Eligible participants will need an appointment to get a vaccine at any clinic. To make an appointment, request a COVID-19 Vaccine appt via the myCNHSA app or call 800-349-7026 and press option 6.
CNHSA is continuing to monitor and watch the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Choctaw Nation Health Care Center in Talihina and CNHSA clinics have limited access points. Signs are up at each facility, but patients and visitors are urged to call ahead for guidance before visiting a facility.
CNHSA staff greet all patients and visitors to ask screening questions and provide guidance. To help limit the risk of exposure, especially for those at higher risk, each patient is limited to one visitor per day over 16 years old at the hospital.
Whenever possible, those needing medication refills are urged to order through the Choctaw Nation Refill Center via the myCNHSA app or by calling 866-367-4084. If refills have been exhausted, please contact the medical provider about the possibility of extending any current prescription.
These measures help protect patients and care providers. Cooperation is greatly appreciated.
